March Madness, the calm before the harvest begins

Today I saw for the first time a pair of Toucans in the plantation. Couldn't take a picture this time. If this pair did not escape from captivity somewhere, it means that the fauna is definitely changing due to global warming.

Here is what a nice breezy day feels like next to one of our adopted trees

Newly planted trees developing nicely.

In some of the lower sections of the Finca, the first mature beans, the " temperanillo" of the 2016 harvest. Just like wine, we have the beans that mature first, like the grapes that mature first and produce slightly different flavors than those that mature later.

These cherries will be ready to be picked very soon, probably within the week, then harvest 2016 will begin! Talk about March Madness!
